New Tile Roof on a La Cañada Flintridge Home
This La Cañada Flintridge home had solar installed in the recent past and experienced a new leak near the panel locations. The felt underlayment was already towards the end of its life. The entire roof paper was brittle and more leaks would be coming soon. Level 1 Roofing and the owners of the house decided it was best to replace the waterproofing underlayment on the entire house. The Homeowners decided on switching from the old red tiles to get a more sophisticated color and style on the home for decades to come. As well as upgrading from the previously installed asphaltic felt to a newer synthetic underlayment.

Chevron in Beaumont – TPO roof system & Standing Seam Metal
For this commercial/retail single-ply TPO and standing seam metal new construction roofing project Level 1 Roofing was hired to do the job. We completed the 20 Year GAF NDL warranty for the TPO roof system. This Chevron gas station, convenience store, and car wash is now open to the public of Beaumont and the surrounding communities. This was the commercial property owners first time choosing to try a single-ply roofing system like TPO instead of a built-up asphalt based roof. The reflective and bright white of the TPO roof keeps the roof and building cooler than other traditional roofing methods such as BUR or EPDM. We used a mechanically attached 60 Mil Everguard GAF TPO and accessories to finish this new construction project. At Level 1 Roofing we noticed a large momentum swing toward more environmentally friendly and renewable materials in new construction roofing and tenant improvement projects and plans. Level 1 Roofing hopes to advance that trend as we push towards these better options especially on larger commercial roofing projects. Shingle Re-Roof on a North Los Angeles 2 Story Home
This Los Angeles home located in North Hills posed some unique challenges during the re-roof process. For all major projects, Level 1 Roofing will file and make payment for any necessary city or county building permits involving roofing. Many cities and counties have varying unique or different requirements for the permit process. In the case of roof replacement in the city of Los Angeles, a city-approved and permitted waste hauler must remove waste from the job site. For this 1 story shingle roof home in Sacramento, roof replacement with full tear-off and new sheathing was the right call.
